G2 Intake?

I was looking on LGmotorsports and they had a G2 CAI listed for 93-97 v6 camaros and a 93 LT1. How could this be? Would it require any modifications to fit my 96 camaro? They also have the KandN listed for fitting 93-97 LT1's and V6's, everywhere else i looked said it only fit the 3.4? Could someone tell me if i buy it will either one of them fit without making modification. Thanks it would be greatly appreciated

They probably assumed that all V6 models used the same intake from 93-97. I would think, however, that you could adapt their system much the same way that the SLP CAI is used on the 3.8L. You would probably need the intake elbow just like the SLP setup.

I have the intake from g2 and yes it does require the same elbow that the slp one does. The G2 does fit fine once you get the elbow without any other modifications. Ive had both of them on my 96 bird and i personally like the G2 one better.

Thanx i kinda thought it would require the elbow just like the rest of them, I was hopeing I diddnt have to shell out the extra cash but I guess that I will have to. Oh well. thanx for the info
