there all basically the same non harder than the other to install. You don´t have to buy a sensor its already there, just make sure to tell them to unscrew it when they weld your cat on so it won´t get damaged.

hey, catco cats are great, I have one 2.5" in/out and I am happy w/ it, I added it at the same time as a flowmaster catback (2.5") but I was happy w/ the gains that I got from the entire thing... lemme know if any of you want one, I'll try to dig a couple up at the same price I got mine (60).

The car's sound will get slightly deeper and louder. It is usually best to put on a cat when you do either headers or cat-back. The stock cat has a heat shield on it, and I don't know if it can be reused on an aftermarket cat, so my suggestion to you would be to get the outside of the cat ceramic coated or have a heat shield installed. Since I'm from california, I like jet hot and ceramic coatings as well as header wraps and the like since they light off my cat quicker and lower my emissions a little, giving me more room to tune the car. A few points to look into: get the inside and outside of your headers jet hot coated for less heat radiating into the engine bay, quicker cat light-off, and better header protection, header wrap put on after that(if you're considered an extremist like me) to keep any leftover heat in the pipe and out of the engine bay, jet hot coat the cat for the same reasons, and finaly, Inconel exhaust valves. I've seen turbo cars use these a lot for their heat resistance and durability. This last item does not and should not be done unless you've got the heads off and are already going to get a cam and the heads ported and polished. even then, they are not required. I like to think of them as an added safety measure in my engine. I'm sure I've missed a few things, but that's pretty much it.

you can get a 3 in/out form thunderracing for 140 or something like that. if i go with random that is probably the one i will get but you have to look in he v8 section to find it

Somebody posted one time that the stock cat was a high flow cat actually. If that's true, just cut the end off your stock cat and weld a 3" pipe to it. I kinda did this, look at the pictures on my website if you like, they are on the undercar picture page. Don't try to cut it off with a torch, use a saber saw.

i have one, but have yet to have it installed, only once place will do it, and it costs more to install it than the actual cat
