i know it says LS1 only, and '00 and up...and i know it has that little sensor or whatever that is plugged into the air box lid.

but can i make this work? i found a damn good deal on one, and they dont have the one that works with a '99. which is what i have. what do you think?

i have the one that works with the 99 i'd say get that one.. Lok around. I have both packages. to tell you the truth, gains arent that muck over smooth bellows. And that intake system is mad expensive

well do u think that pack is even worth it? ive done the "free ram air" mod, along with the "free whisper lid" mod...ghetto style, i know.

but do u think that kit is worth buying? with the bellows, real whisper lid, and metal cold air duct thing?

Isn't the tube coming off the back of the lid placed differently on a V8 than a V6?

well, teal says he has the same package, so i reckon its the same, or close enough to work....

Yeah, that won't mate up too well with a v6. V8 throttle body is centered on the motor, while the V6 is offset to the right. It wouldn't be a straight shot to the TB using this lid, so you couldn't use that smooth bellow to connect them. The sheet metal ram air would work regardless.

^^^^He's correct. if you are getting a really good deal on it, i would buy it, sell the v8 whisper lid, and buy a v6 whisper lid so everything lines up well cause whats the point of a nice expensive whisper lid when you have a badly bent hose going from it into your throttle body.
