  • Whats next?

    Ok today i did that free ram air mod to my 01 3.8l camaro. i have flowmaster exhaust. what kind of headers should i get?
    2001 Navy Blue Camaro W/ silver racing stripes<br />aluminum grill<br />black halo headlights<br />18X9.5 black zo6 rims<br />Flowmaster exhaust<br />Free ram air mod w/ K&N filter

    Pacesetter's are the cheapest in price (som have quality issues, some don't), RK sports are the middle in price but the worst in quality (lots of leaks) but have bigger primaries than the pacesetter and CIA, Clear Image are the most expensive but the best quality. Take your pick...

      dont waste your money, you have tubular manifolds. you have factory headers.
      1997 Camaro 15.3@91 with a 2.35 60ft-B&M Ripper, SLP Knob, SLP CAI, LT1 DS, EBC Pads. 1994 Camaro(Sadly Sold)-Hi flow cat, custom flowmaster american thunder cat back, KN FIPK, Accel wires, Plat plugs, 160 thermo, Fastchip, Pacesetters.

        they are still manifolds and headers still yeld gain. sure its not 45hp but if we were in this for improvements to unlesh our monsterous motors, we wouldnt own a v6. [img]smile.gif[/img]

        i would look into a high flow cat that will pass texas emissions. also, look into some gears and a LSD if you dont have one already.

          CIA isnt making headers anymore for the V6ers i believe.

            they didnt stop making them, they lowered the price to fit the market. its in their own website. they are now priced at $455 coated. Hells Yeah!

                If you do do gears, remember that you can't do them, someone must do them for you and it is pricey, $500 or more to install.
