Wouldn't we have the same exhaust as the slp or rumbler if we put a bullet or glasspack on the I pipe and just dump the pipe after the axle with no tips thats how I had my Z28 and it sounded sick. It would be alot cheaper that either.

Close, except you'd still have 2.25" pipes :( The 3" pipes improves the sound a TON!
And for $300 including tips, the Rumbler is one of the least expensive catbacks available today Don't try to skimp out on too many costs on your car, in the end you almost always wish you would have spent the extra buck and got the good stuff. I've been there too!

yeah.. realisticly.. call a good glass pack $50..
then from the cat back you will need about 10' of strait pipe, and then some 180* and 90* bends..
probably under $100 of mild steel pipe.. of 2.75 or 3"..
then lets say $15 worht of clamps and adapters..
but.. you will ne access to a welder.. and it would be pretty time consuming.. depending on if you want to run dual tips or just one big dump..
so.. yeha for well under $200 you can make your own.. but.. you gota have the skill and the tools.. and the time..
so.. when you look at it that way.. if you have nothing to do.. and a welder.. go for it..
but.. it not.. the rumbler is not a bad deal..

Gotcha! All you'd need in addition to the bullet muffler or glasspack then would be the equipment to weld it all up www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!
