• Aircharger ????????????????????????????

I have installed already a Rk Sport performance intake with the air lid and the ram air. My question is I want to remove the rk sport intake and install a aircharger and the ss scoop. My question is I know it would not pass california smog but can i just remove it without with out harming the sensors. I read in the K&N it may not be easy remove and it may damage the sensors if constantly removing the aircharger. Any way please give me info a.s.p.

Do you mean K&N's new Aircharger Intake for our cars?

          This, right?

Odds are, I am going to buy that and sell my lid, but the Aircharger is not cheap! ($250)

What is with all the question marks in the topic line?????????????????????????????????????????

bluebird know what I am talking about. I am not talking about superchargers. Its called a Aircharger that K&N makes more Camaros. I just not heard or seen anybody with them. All I know that it would not pass the smog check only for off road use. Check it out and maybe you guys could answer my question. If you guys are bothered about how many questions i put then take a chill pill its only question marks you cry babies

how is that better than a lid and filter??? i mean theres no hole under neath the filter for the ram air to work... I have seen it on the ls1's dynoed less pwer than a lid and filter.. also all its gonna get is warm air...

First off, Ram Air on Our V6's wouldn't take effect to about 80 mph. How often will you be going over 80 mph?

Even then it's what...only 5-6 HP? A Ram-Air Hood, will make it a Col-Air Intake. The K&N Elbow also replaces the Factory Intake Acordioan thing.

                    ...I know I didn't spell that right.

No more info on the K&N aircharger? Can you use the aircharger with a CAI? Do you need a ram-air hood in order for the aircharger to work? is the airchager better than a CAI? is it worth to spend $250.00 for it? Thanks for any info.

No. Look at the picture again. See the Black Plate on the Bottom? That is included with the Kit. It blocks off the Hot Air From the Radiator, that could go into your intake.

No. A Functional Ram-Air Hood would bring in Fresh, Cold Air into the Engine Bay from the outside. The Incoming air would be dropped right onto the Filter, making it a true cold-air intake.

Yes. You don't have to butcher your airbox to get your filter dirty really fast. Rain is also not a problem.

Yes. Look up prices For a Lid, K&N Drop-in Filter, and a Ram-Air Kit. Add them up. See a difference?
