I am just gageing the intrest in this. I am talking to a guy that practically makes his living on tbs, and he is going to P&P my stock tb, and make it bigger and make a new butterfly valve and all that neat stuff that comes with it. Anyways he asked me to see if we can show you all some dyno numbers and/or flow numbers if you guys would be intrested in him offering his services on a wider scale. It would be something with user supplied core, and he would have it back to you a less than a week after the day you send it too him, if people are intrested, we will do the dyno and stuff, and get pricing down. Thanks for the input.

Well my metting with this guy is going to be this weekend, and i need to know some facts. What is the stock mm size of the 3.4L tb, the 3.8L tb, and the LS1 tb? Is the MAFS in the same spot on the LS1 as it si on the 3.8L...and does anyone allready know the max bore compacity of all three of those stock tbs? Thanks...dont forget to tell me what size you would be intrested in.

the 3.4 guys have a 50 mm,and the 3.8s have a 65 mm,im not sure what the max allowed is,but im definitely interested,i was gonna do my own too,but id rather get it done right, let us know how much he wants,im in.

im sure the only sure the only way to benefit from this is to have the intake ported to match or as much as allowed,it makes sense, what good is a ported tb if the intake itself cant equally take in the extra air?not being a smart *ss just wondering if im right??

Dont worry i am figuring all of this stuff out, like i said i am meeting with him soon, he is really good so the price isnt going to be dirt or anything. But i will try to get him to go as low as possible. Hopefully more than just 3-4 people are intrested though, cause the more people that are willing to do this, the more likely it will happen and the less it will cost.

i was just going to ask that, if they can port it to 70mm, just buy v8 MAF, and use the MAFT to tune it. thats what ZZP is doing now
