  • MANDREL-BENT ALUMINIZED TUBING S-pipe

How hard was it for the installers to use 2 of the 45deg piping for the s-pipe? I'm interested in using this as my S-pipe but I don't want the install people to charge large amounts for the amount of welding and cutting their going to have to do.

I'm either thinking about using this or the SLP s-pipe.
Whisper Lid, SLP CAI, KN Filter, 3\" HiFlo Carsound Cat, full 3\" mandrel-bent piping, Flowmaster 80s, Casper O2 Sim, BM Tranny Cooler, Vigilante 3300 Torque Converter, Corvette Servo, 3.42 gears, SLP take-off LSD, Manual Fan Switch, & 160 Thermostat.

    slp makes an s- pipe
    how much? waht diameter?

and where is it on there website.
is the reason people are using the 45 degree pipe instead of 90 degree for better flow?

The S-pipe is SLP part number 30045. It's actually an installation kit for the Loudmouth system on V6 and LT1 exhaust systems. It is a 3" mandrel bent pipe with flange and some other little parts. You can get it at American Muscle Motorsports for $64.95 + shipping. ;)

It was very easy. I did it myself. Had to cut a little off the end of one, at the cat end, to get clear of the floorboard at the other end. I did put a catback on at the same time, and a catco, so everything was already being undone under there...
