    is their a difference between using a cold air intake that will work with the scoop or one that doesnt performance wise

        if you already have the SLP ram air its not really needed although double ram air is nice. At high speeds i'm sure preformance will be a little better.

          no real gain in one over the other (cold air vs. "ram" air)

            i agree with everyone else. true ram air witha hood and ram air box is also like 3-4 time the amount of a lid and underhood ram air, with no significant difference.
