is there any difference? will an LS1 lid work for the 3.8 also?

on the ls1, where the tb meets the box is in the center on a 99+ 3.8 its more toward the drivers side.

im sure you could make it work with some ducting.

i think someone around here did it with the clear ls1 lid.

Ur not gonna get the same effect with the ls1 lid as you do with the whisper lid. I made the dumb mistake of ordering the SLP LS1 lid along with some ducting. But now I switched to the whisper lid and i definitly fell and hear the difference. Go with whats made for our car.

The only difference is the outlet of the lid. LS1 is centered, V6 is offset somewhat to the right for the 98, more central for the 99+ but a different shape.

you right but the down fall is getting a duct so far over in such a small area causing a considerable bend that can be solve by just buying whats meant for our cars.
