This is pretty cool - I wonder if they could help out the 99+ crowd.
It looks like they're in Huntington Beach - I think I'll take a short 15min cruise up there tomorrow and check this out.

I have little faith in that TB.
It doesn't look like they did ANYTHING to the MAF at all. Just widened the TB a pinch.
They don't even have the right elbow on the car for the SLP CAI. lol
It is nice that the 3.8 is getting attention though.
I'll have pics of my P&P TB setup soon. I wish all V6 camaro/firebird's would get a little more respect and attention. If companies would actually put the attention into them then it would be a lot easier to do things to our cars and all. Hopefully one day the V6 will get the respect it deserves, at least the ones in the camaro/firebirds.1994 Camaro
3.4L V6 Automatic
K&N FIPK&Gold Oil Filter,Ravin Performance Exhaustw/Dynomax MandrelBent3\"I-Pipe&S Pipe&Catco 3\" HiFlow Cat.,ASP Crank and High AMP Alternator,U.D. I agree with you on this Magnus, simply because the stock TB is capable of immense amounts of flow. I don't see how +100cfm capability is going to help the 3800.
However, I will find out whats going on here 2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Not bad. I knew there was hp and tq to be had in a bigger tb/maf, I just didn't know when it needed to be done during the engine's build-up. This may very well be my christmas present to myself this year :D I'm sure the gains will be better w/ more mods. I can't remember what exhaust they used on that car, but that will help get more power out of the tb too. I figure no more than 10 rwhp can be achieved from this being done in conjunction w/ intake, ignition, headers, cat, and cat-back exhaust. This is, hopefully, low-end estimate that I won't get flamed about for making.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

In the article it states that the car has an SLP intake, headers(doesn't say what kind), and custom exhaust(doesn't say what kind). This yeilded 173.7 HP. With the new TB it yeilded 180.2 peak HP. The dyno chart shows a nice HP increase throughout the RPM range.
I'm not saying yay or nay to this TB, but from the article it does sound like a nice little mod if the price is right ;) I like when products have dyno proof :D~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

Oh my bad, guess I didn't look hard enough. At least I know someone read the article ~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

since it says borla in the engine bay, but refers to a custom exhaust, they may have just gotten the rear section kit and had a custom s-pipe and I-pipe put on, probly 2.5" since the inlets on the rear section are 2.5"(I think).2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
