The whole pacesetter 3.8 headers thing.

I've been hearing everything mixed all around about these things. Just found this site that has them listed:

Of course, if I order them from there(damn, and so cheap), I am assuming they will end up on backorder for 10 years. Or are they finally out?

So confused.. .anyone with some actual factual factitudes, feel free to drop 'da knowledge on me. Word up, son. Or whatever.

First off, there is NO way that the ceramic coated ones go for that cheap...impossible. Do a search for this and you will see a few posts that I have made about the situation. I am a distributor for Pacesetter and I contact them anytime that one of these posts comes up and still the same answer...."We are not manufacturing these headers yet but we will start in 8-10 weeks"
I hope this helps clear up the issue. If anything, give that company a call and tell them that you are ready to order a set and would like availability information...see what they say and let us know.

I'll call them Monday - their hours are Mon thru Fri.

Hey, if they are selling with that price for what they have listed and you order it, wouldn't they have to honor it? When they get them eventually, I'd have to assume they'd actually have to give it to ya, right?

Unless it is stated somewhere on their site or purchase agreement that prices can change without notification, they will have to stick by it.

Question...Are those not V 8 headers? Notice the 4 pipes coming off of it. Shouldnt they only have 3?

Pacesetter doesn't offer very good pictures of all sets of headers so we are forced to display the general pics. They do, however, show pretty well what the painted and coated headers will look like when you receive them.

Yeah, it's a good way to collect money for a few months or longer. I keep calling them to see what the new story is and as soon as they are IN PRODUCTION, I will order a few sets to stock. Until then, "Coming Soon"
