So I had my 6006 installed last night, but here's the problem the y-shaped bracket that mounted to the original cat that held the cat and s-pipe up cannot be properly reused, so my s-pipe is now baning against that bracing that runs across the bottom of the car. Is there an easy way to lift everything about 1/4" up so that it won't bang anymore?

The muffler shop welded my Y shape bracket onto the S pipe. As far as that other bracing you're talking about that rubbing on S pipe, I had the same problem also. My S pipe was just rubbing on the ends, not in the middle of brace. I just got a crescent wrench(or pliers) and bent the brace down so the S pipe won't rub anymore.99 Camaro Z28 A4
R.I.P. 00 Firebird 3.8
14.89 @ 90, 2.03 60\'
