• The future of my car is in your hands well sort of...

Well on my way to work this morning one of my tailpipes fell off my car and took a portion of my flowmaster with it. (i will post a pic of it as soon as i get home tonight) So now I'm at a dilema do i replace the flow with another flow, buy a 3" system, or do a custom true dual? Either way I go I'm buying high flow cat(s).

Please Choose one
A. Replace Flowmaster with another one
B. Replace with SLP "loudmouth" choose tips as well dual/dual or slash tip
C. Build a true dual exhaust with 2 cats and supertrapp mufflers
D. Build a true dual exhaust with 2 cats and dynomax bullet mufflers
E. build a true dual exhaust with 2 cats and use car chemistry's collecter inserts as my mufflers

I pick "A" since that would be the easiest thing to do. If you're gonna do anything else, go w/ a true dual setup "D" and throw on a pair of resonator tips to mellow the sound out a bit more. make sure if you do go for a true dual setup you have an x-pipe crossover so both pipes are equalized. Also, don't go any bigger than 2.25" piping for the cat-back. Otherwise you won't have much room to work under the car and you won't ever need any bigger pipe than that anyway cuz you'll never flow that much air out it anyway.

I love that quad center setup but it doesn't work on the firebirds...

as for the dual i would use a 2" pipe cause the 2.25" flows more than a single 3" which would just kill the low end torque

Heck yeah, I agree with James ... Edelbrock catback will give you a 3" intermediate pipe for a deep idle and non-ricey sound at high RPMs! It's the best bargain under $300. If you can spare some change, get the B&B Tri-Flo system. Kinda pricey, but the tips look sweet and the sound is great as well.

I say whatever you do, go with a complete catback to the rear... Flowmaster, Edelbrock, Hooker, pick something and go for it .
