  • Size of stock pipes

I have been reading tons of past posts and even looking at exhaust diagrams on the web. I am officially .

I added a borla muffler (not catback, just muffler), and that was 3" piping. And from some posts I read, stock for my 95 would be 3" piping. When I priced a catco (CT0-4517), it said 2.5 both in and out.

What size piping do I have? If I have 2.5", should I find a cat with 3" piping and then add adapters/reducers? I was going to install it myself, and I do not have a pipe bender so I need to keep it relatively straight forward.

Thanks for the help, this is driving me nuts.

addendum - the diagram shows 2.25" pipe after the cat, not 2.5.
