Does anyone know how to do a !EGR mod? I want to take it off, it leaks badly. :mad:

agreed, mine does too because of the headers... i want to do the block off plates, but i hear it will burn up the motor in the tube that goes back to the intake will throw a code... any input would help...

It will not throw a code as long as you keep the actual sensor plugged in. I have had the whole egr system off my car for about 10 months now and it does throw a code when I've been cruising for a few miles. That's only because the egr valve is no longer plugged in. I blocked the exhaust portion off by bending the egr tube over and crimping it. On the intake side I just used some quik steel.

We removed the entire assembly and put a block off plate on the intake for our turbo car [img]smile.gif[/img]
