anyone know the diameter for the ypipe that comes with pacesetter headers for a 99 3.8L?

its on pacesetter's website, i remember seeing it there multiple times. i want to say 3 inch. all the 3.8 ypipes from pacesetter are the same.

k so do i need a 3inch in/out cat for my car? i have pacesetter headers and ypipe to a stock cat to a magnaflow catback exhaust

yes unless the mag catback doesnt come with an s-pipe. then you need 3/2.25 unless you update it or it does have the 3" s-pipe.

3" IN/OUT would be the way to go there.

yeah it came with a s pipe...i never put it on tho so i still have stock cat and spipe...but i still have the spipe laying around for when i do put a highflow cat on....thanks guys!

hey man i just bought a set of pacesetter headers and i have called three different ppl who do exhaust work they all said that they can't do it because its too difficult on the 3.8 firebird some BS like that. Kristen you said you just welded it on to the cat. my cat is stock and then i have a flowmaster exhaust. Any tips on the installation.
