ok now i know sound shouldnt matter but while i cant afford a new cat back system and headers, i was wondering if cutting out the cat and straight piping it back to my muffler will sound alot better than witht the cat in... will it help proformance???? os is this a waste of money....
ps im not getting a full exaust so im looking for a quick extra bost of sound and maybe a bit of preformance. thanks....

It might be a little louder but you wont pass emissions and it is illeagul. Get a Flowmaster replacement muffler for all of $80 that will sound lots nicer.
that is what i wanted to do to begin with but i dont have the money for a while to get it but i do have asccess to the tubing.... i know its illegal ;) thanks.

a y pipe after? or could o put it in before...? i have seen them online but i didnt know if you were supposed to put them before or after, or hell if it even mattered... haha....
