i think you could just order a 3 inch "U" bend from jegs or summit and cut it in half and use that.alot cheaper than SLP.
only 20 $ from jegs ( about halfway down page, last U bend )

yea, cut it in half and then weld it back together. your going to have to trim both ends a little though, to get the right length. but after searching a few people have done it. it has to work.and at that cheap of a price, id do it.

$251.49 for the rumbler w/o tips? is shipping included?

only thing to consider is, if you go with the U-bend, all of a sudden you cant do the exhaust in your driveway, and depending on what shop you go to, they might try to @ss-rape you for the "fabbing-up" part of the install.

My exhaust came with the S-bend and I bought a pretty nice Saw-zall to ease the installation and still saved a bunch of money on what the shops wanted to charge to hang the system.

NOOO you went with the rumbler! Another traiter to the loud mouth. I took my exhaust to Midas I believe. They asked me where my muffler was but I told them I was paying them to make me a reducer to 3" and weld that puppy on. So they didn't ask anything else and it cost me like 50 bucks I believe for the install. I'm quite happy with it. Make sure that your new cat is long enough. I didn't get the long one and the reducer they put on wasn't long enough so my exhaust with the tips exits right almost in line with my rear bumper, kind of cool looking though. Have fun and upgrade the stereo, it'll be loud.

looks like a very good setup youre getting. i did the s-pipe deal myself. the only thing is you have to get some kinda hanger.

you car will feel like a completely different car. youll love it the power will be very noticeable. i think youll love the sound.
