Will this exhaust work on my 3.4 V6? And is it what you would put on?

and you have no rasp and good low tone? </font>[/QUOTE]listen to my exhaust here.
In the clip it's raspy at 4K RPMs. A set of headers will help it out, but I haven't put them on yet. As already stated, with a v6, there will always be some rasp.
personally, i have the flowmaster setup on my 3.4 and i tend to like the sound. i get lots of compliments over it too.. everyone mistakes it for an 8 until i hit about 3.5k rpms. Also, if sound is what you are concerned with, rather than straight up hp, keep the cat on (or get a hi flow).. itll sound sooooooo much better. I've had 2 3.4's now, both with this flowmaster setup.. both ive taken the cat off and both ive put it back on cause it was just too raspy and obnoxious. i love loud cars but i prefer them to be loud and sound good at the same time... oh, and flowmaster setups have to break in to sound good.. right out of the box, they dont sound that great. mines at least 5 yrs old now and it sounds better than when i first had it...

K great...and to confirm, a high-flow cat will make my exhaust sound better (lower/less rasp) than my stock cat?
yes.. keeping a cat on the exhaust will make it sound a lot better... a bit quieter, and with a lot less rasp.... at least over no cat. as far as compared to the stock cat, itll just free up a bit of power... not much but a bit. if yours has a lot of miles on it, you might as well change it out when you are doing the rest of the exhaust...

headdddders and high flow cat and flowmaster american thunder, sounds beast. very little if any rasp. thought bout the rumbler though? considered going with that, flowmaster is heavy and in my opinion restrictive with the resonator and the muffler in the am. thund. package.

I need to make a new thread...but I will wait till I get the sound clip...I just installed the flowmaster 2.5 bolt on replacement...it sounds GREAT!!! ZERO RASP!!!! I love it...but it could be a little louder, maybe the highflow cat will make it louder.
