  • got new exhaust *updated after 1 day*

well i got me a full hooker exhaust and a hi flow cat with a cutout, as for the whole exhaust well its just a 6 IMO i have had vforce, flowmaster and now hooker!! and i would say hooker is prolly the best but not by too much!!

CUTOUT: i opened it up a while ago and OMG!!! it is SOO LOUD!!! it sounds really mean too!!! and when i get on it, it is EXTREMELY LOUD!!!! and it feels like i have lost power when i have that open is this true?

you do not lose power, the torque curve only moves up the powerband by around 500rpms in my experience and you gain hp up top

how big is your new hooker? 2.75" as well? I was thinking of upgrading from 2.5" to 2.75" or 3" down the road.

3 inch, techinically it is bottlenecked! b/c i have a 2.5 pipe from cutout to I pipe cause it is a v8 exhaust and i didnt have a piece i needed! i will upgrade that small piece down the road, right now i dont have enough mods for 3 inch anyway so it works out!

check lm performance for cutouts. the cut out is not in the cat it can be placed anywhere on the exhaust piping.
