• Got my Flowmaster on today....

80's series is on today. Sounds really good at idle, and great up to about 3000 rpm's. It gets a bit ricey after that. Again though, at idle it sounds just plain Evil!!!

i havea 1995 3.4, i got a flowmaster 80 series, 1997 trans am piping, and a 2.5 carsound cat, it sounds awsome at idle, and good to about 3000, i use to have a flowmaster 40 series it sounded as good but quiter so i think i would have been better of getting a flowmaster 40 series dual, it would be more mean and throaty, as far as the ricey sound i was thinking about getting a cherry bomb muffler as a resonator, or a dynomax bullet as a resonator

Where did they mount the Dual 40's. I thought about this b/c I had dual 40's on my 98 3.8 mustang and they sounded great. But I thought that there was a clearance issue with the Camaros.

95slowcar, I know I have a 3.8 and flowmasters do get ricey on our cars, but I have a full 3in back with a carsound cat and mine doesn't get ricey. DO you just have a muffler and a cat?

Yes, that's all. What else do you think I should do?

Also there are a couple people on the board who have put a bullet muffler in place of the cat. If you have intentions on doing this make sure emissions arent required in your state or else you wont pass. Havent heard a clip of a setup with the bullet muffler but from what they say it sounds pretty sweet.
