SLP Wisper lid

Here's a question for anyone that have a 2002 Firebird and instaled a SLP Wisper lid. I tryed to install mine but found out that the lid is bigger then the stock one. I want to know if I order a smoth elbow if it will all fit together?

The one SLP makes isn't designed for 3.8s. Best bet would be to sell it and get a whisper lid. If you want to make the SLP one work you have to get a hose that flexes to connect the lid to the throttle body.

That's weird. I went to SLP's web page again to look at Cold-Air Induction Packages, the lid they tell you to use with the smooth elbows is the one I have #21044. Check it out..

And notice both of the lids and the smooth bellows all say they're for V8s only. ;)

For a V6, you'll need the Whisper Lid.

what whisper lid do I want to get??? Do i need a a hose for the lid to the intake??????

Do I need a collor that goes from the lid to my intake? or does it come with the kit?

It includes the hose from the lid to the TB.

This is the one that I bought
It's pretty much plug and play. And it really cleans up your engine bay, because you get rid of a lot of that plastic that's under the hood.
