  • shaved lid.

I shaved my air box lid today, even though I nicked the k&n filter gasket a few times, the project went well.. I used a dremel and pretty much melted them off then cleaned it up with the polishing tool.

I havent really had a chance to notice a difference yet..

    That is my question..
I already had the free ram air (cutting the rectangular holes in the air restriction stuff) but I didnt have a shaved lid yet. Will i notice any different with the free ram air with the shaved lid or will it be almost the same as without it?

I went from stock setup to... shaved lid and homemade smooth bellows worked great.

    FRA made it even better.

I thought it was well worth all the gains.

you will probably notice a very little diff. but it adds something, better than nothing.
