Just wanted to ask a quick question. I have a 2002 firebird and wanted to get a new Exhaust for. I wanted to know what I should go with? I'm looking at the Magnaflow Exhaust system with the high flow CAT and Peacesetter headers. With the Magnaflow system what should I go with the 2.5" piping, or 3"? I want to have a mean sound to it but unsure as to what to get. As far as the headers go I want to make sure that I'm getting the right ones for my car. Not like the wisper lid that I got and didn't work. So if there's anyone out there that can help me out with this and has part numbers on what parts I need and what web sites that I can get them that would be awsome. Basicly all I'm looking for is the right stuff for my car, right part numbers and a sure fit.

as for headers i would go with clear image headers. I have a 2.5" magnaflow catbak but i wish i had gone with 3". Bigger is better. for the catback just go to jegs,summit, magnaflow.com,or any place that sells catbacks and get the LS1 version. all you need is an adapter before the cat(i think) which any muffler shop can do for you.

Doesn't the 3" rattle because of clearance? I heared that the 3" is to close to the frame and couses it to rattle

No I have 3" Loudmouth. The exhaust doesn't rattle just the rest of my car from the rumble. hehe
