  • Noise from under the car

Ok, I put headers on awhile back (rksport). And now there is a knocking sound coming from right under my feet at higher speeds and when making sharper turns.

I know I have a leak due to the gaskets, and it's a different sound then that, but not positive what. I think it may be the y-pipe hitting up against something, but not sure.

Any suggestions? And how to fix it?

Only experiance I've had w/headers ws w/my friends 73 Mach I. due to the engine reving/moving, the headers would be knocking agains the floor pan. might want to look into that, maybe even put a wood board between the y-pipe & floor board. Of course, not having seen the setup, I don't know if it'll work.

      Thanks.

Any other suggestions from those who have done this?
