hmm.. if they line up with the pacesetter shorties, then im sure they could be welded together.
but for a company to sell their headers as a set.. but without the y pipe and collectors...thats whack96 Camaro M5. headers will get u about 5-10 rwhp up top, depending on other mods. more intake mods will get u more, more exhaust mods will get u more. also, the guys w/ tubular stock manifolds won't get as much of a gain because ours are already somewhat decent. the one's w/ the cast manifolds will see more of a gain. headers should probly be done after entire intake is modded up to the TB, cat-back put on, and maybe some ignition & computer mods.
everyone worries about the loss of backpressure and losing torque. reality is, our cams have so little overlap that we couldn't lose much torque if any. it's got tiny duration, and huge lobe separation. headers will only wake up our cars. later on, if you choose to do a cam swap, remember that ur exhaust is very low restriction if u do headers, cat, and cat-back, cuz too much overlap will kill ur low end when combined w/ a low-restriction exhaust. The way they grind for this, if u care about ur low-end, is to add a degree or 2 to the cam's lobe separation.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

So I would have the same or better results if I went with headers. So I should just do the whisper ram air, lid, dynomax bullet muffler, then the flowmaster cat back?2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe, Daytona Blue, Frost leather interior, navigation, 18 inch wheels, M6, fully loaded, intake, crank pulley.

Previous cars:
1991 Mustang (347)
2002 RS Camaro
1985 IROC-Z (305)
1994 Camaro convertible V6

I also heard that keeping my manifolds will keep a deeper rumble, true? Its a 2002, so I guess i have tubular manifolds, so hardly any difference?2003 Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe, Daytona Blue, Frost leather interior, navigation, 18 inch wheels, M6, fully loaded, intake, crank pulley.

Previous cars:
1991 Mustang (347)
2002 RS Camaro
1985 IROC-Z (305)
1994 Camaro convertible V6

the bigger tubes that aftermarket headers have will make a deeper rumble. Headers ARE worth some hp and tq on NA cars. u won't see much until u do heads/cam tho. Doing intake mods first will get u power everywhere in the powerband. get the lid, filter, and MAf screen taken care of b4 u do exhaust, it'll liven up the car a lot. then, decide if u want a cold or ram air kit. if ya wanna put in a high flow car w/ ur cat-back, then that'll be good too. after this, upgrade the ignition w/ plugs/wires/HPP3 to burn the A/F miture better. w/ my mods: FTRA/Whisper Lid/K&N/!MAF, 3" cat-back, and HPP3, I figure I'm pushing around 200 rwhp w/ my 2001 firebird. oh, and u'll have a hard time getting traction w/ the stock V6 suspension and chassis w/ just those few mods. believe me, I know, so be ready 2 wanna start upgrading the suspension/chassis/tires/differential while ur doing all those power mods.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
