Well I'm finally going to start modding the RS. Definitely going with the Whisper ram air intake, lid, dynomax bullet muffler in place of cat, and the american thunder flowmaster cat back. Now I was thinking about getting pacesetter headers as well, but would the headers give more of a rice sound or would it sound great with the rest of the setup. Also would the hp and tq gains be better with the headers?

the person who sold me his headers.. said he heard his old car (97 firebird) with the pacesetters on, along with full exhaust and 80 series muffler. and he said he wishes he never got rid of that car now, cause it just sounds amazing.
and now he drives an ls1... so if he likes the v6 sound over the v8..it must sound good.
i will definately let u guys know how my exhaust sounds when its put on..
since my ehaders are shipped out to JET HOT right now. im putting everythign else on now.. and the headers on later. so i can tell you the differences it makes.96 Camaro M5. I'll bet you a dime to a donut that a V6 with a lot of exhasut work done, will sound better than a stock LS1 car.
Especially when he looks into what it will cost to do the same work to his LS1.

who said anything about a whole exhaust costing 1500 bucks..
my WHOLE ENTIRE SET UP.. including headers, and them being JET HOT coated. comes to a total of....
435.88
not even half or 1500 bucks..
with 1500 bucks i can definately make our v6's to sound like a beast. throughout the whole RPM range.96 Camaro M5. Looked like there was some confusion about the Y pipe coming with the pacesetter headers from the AMMperformance website. i dont see why they wouldnt.. becuase the y pipe comes welded to the collectors... which bolt up to the headers.96 Camaro M5.
