  • Question about tips?

I did a search and didn't really find what i was looking for so im going to ask, currently i have 3-3.5(not sure) slash cut chrome tips, sounds good w/my current set up(info in signature), but don't really like how they look, i was thinking of borla exhaust tips, my question is: will it make my exhaust quiter, will it make the exhaust sound deeper, stay the same?? because what i don;t want is to lose the exhaust sound i have now, because i love how it sounds and get lots of compliments

When I had my 80 series muffler I had borla tips. I loved them. They look awesome, and sound good. I'm not really sure how they affect sound though. When I put on my American Thunder Catback w/ the slash-cut tips they sounded deeper than borla tips but I'm pretty sure that was b/c of the catback. My borla tips w/ 80 series did have a nice rumble though. One other thing, the borla tips are a b*tch to clean. Hope this helps.
