New exhaust !

Well today I went and had a new exhaust put on. I had them put 2 1/2" piping all the way back from the headers, and changed to the super turbo Dynomax muffler. Also new tips. I love the way it sounds. It's very deep, and a lot meaner sounding. Plus, there is NO raspy sound at all :D

Also, had the leaks fixed from the headers, and found out what the knocking sound was. The y-pipe was scraping up against the a-arm ( I think that's what they said). They could see where it was scraped up, and they fixed that.

So no ticking, knocking, raspy sound at all. All in all a good day [img]smile.gif[/img]

I tryed getting 2 1/2 pipe and the guy that was supposed to put it on said that it couldnt be done??? He said I have to order re-bent tubing specially for camaro's?

From wha tI have heard, and now you confirmed it, I belive Dynomax is the way to go for me...no headers for awhile yet...but the muffler could be any day now

Yeah, I like the way it sounds alot. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for in sound.
