Here's an idea, buy 6 standard 3" exhaust flanges, put one on each end of a bullet muffler, stock cat, and then on the pipe that the two go between.

Need to pass inspection? Take an extra 5 minutes bolting the cat up.

Now you just need to find a friendly welder who's willing to help you out for an hour or so.

This'll also be good in case the bullet sounds like ungodly ****.

bottom line, what will be better for sound purposes, i'm looking for a nice throaty sound loud, but not so loud that it gets annoying,
flowmaster 80 series, 2.5 mendral bent custom piping, and 2.5 inlet/outlet carsound cat
or
flowmaster 80 series, 2.5 mendral bent custom piping, and 2.5 bullet muffler instead of the cat
I don't want to regrat having gotten an exhaust that stills sounds ricey, so please lmk which you think

Hey man. Just wanted to let you know. The flowmaster kit I bought came with a resonator. So you really don't need the dynomax. Also, if you still want to get the dynomax you can have it mounted just a little futher back on the I-Pipe. I just put mine in place of the cat cause Michigan doesn't have emissions testing. Hope this helps.

Later man

i don't buy the american thunder exhaust kit, i have a flowmaster 80 series, plan on getting custom 2.5 piping, and you think it makes sence to get a high flow cat and put a bullet muffler right after it, along w/the muffler, would this make for a nicesounding tone? because i figure im jus putting on an extra restrictor by putting an additional item on to an exhaust w/a muffler and cat
