00+ Manifold swap

I've been gone for a pretty long time, so just need to be brought up to speed here...

I'm seeing some threads that are saying 00+ exhaust manifolds can't be swapped into a '96 b/c of A/C line clearance.

Is this true? Or can the lines just be bent out of the way, or what? When I put on my headers (I'm planning on taking them off now), I had to bend the A/C lines the get them to clear but that worked fine...

Just wondering what the most recent info. on this is.

Buy some headers instead!

Why are you planning on taking your headers off?

How far did you have to bend it? Take pictures? Feel free to get a hold of me via AIM for email and we'll chat about it.
