Trottle bodys

Does anybody know if the Grand prix GT throttle body will fit our 3800s cause it is the Same engine. zzperformance only sells them for Grand Prix Gts I was wondering if they had one for ou car.

Actually I am currently in the process of doing this. The GP throttle body has no center pole until you put the maf sensor in , but it is still smaller than ours. The biggest problem so far has been the throttle linkages. You can actually take the parts off our TB and put onto the other one. You do have to cut off a piece of the GP's throttle body which was used as a stop for the other one, but has clearance issues on ours.

I'm going outside right now to put it on. I'll let ya know how it works out.

I do not recommend this mod to anyone. The bolts dont even line up. I doubt the actual air way lines up.

I installed it anyway just to see how it would run first it did ran up to about 5000 rpm even with no throttle cables and no sensors. I used some rtv around the whole area that's not completely sealed (because only two of the bolts will line up). Now it's stutering trying to die bouncing from 500 to 1200 rpm ( with the throttle cables and sensors).
