  • Does anyone have O2 simms that work 100%?

Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has not had any problems with their O2 simms over a duration of several thousand miles.

I had my check engine light pop on a few times but I went and had it deleted. Other than that mine works fine.

2k1bird.. if your check engine light came on with the sim.. then they are not working now, are they??

anyway, i jsut cleared a hig voltage code that i got with mine..

I dont think any of them really work all that well.. jason mcallister has tried both types.. and nither worked for him..

I think someone really ought to make sims that work better.. that or i am gunna put a stock cat back on..

      good luck,
      Billy

Thanks for the help. 2k1bird when you say a few times, how many is that? Also where did you get your "Casper Elec. o2 eliminator"? If there are none that are 100% Ill just have to take the next best thing :D

it seems to be a problem for the 2000+ cars.. i would be interested to know if any pre 2000 cars have gotten the high voltage problem..

I've used Casper's and one from ZZPerformance (don't know who makes it but it's not Casper) and both give the high voltage problem.
I need to find the time to make my own. ;)

FWIW: The GM part number for the O2 sensor delete plug is 25509274. This will plug the O2 sensor hole in your I-pipe.

AllTheGoodNamesAreGone : I got the high voltage code twice and had it cleared, so you and I had the same problem. Since then mine has run fine, but I do agree with you. I don't think any of them work perfect. I think it's been about 3 or 4 months since the last time I had it cleared.
