• Anyone w/ SLP intake inside ~~~>

Its been going on for a while, i've just been to lazy to look into it.

But does anyone's SLP intake squeak at all? Mine does.

Right by the part thats connected to the body of the car (that hook thing)

Not sure if its cause i had the inside of the engine compartment clear coded, but just wondering.

I had that problem, just put a piece of rubber in there, that should tighten it up.

Mine doesn's squeak there. I can't hear it from inside the car. It only makes a loud sucking sounds (like mentioned before) and then around 3,000 rpm starts sounding like it's a spooling turbo. (I really like that sound!!! ) :D

How loud of a sound does everyone get from their CAI? I guess before I installed mine, I never paid that much attention to how the engine sounded. Would not having an air-tight seal in the airbox lessen the sound?

Mine took about 3 weeks to get from SLP..but that was due to the whole 9/11 thing. THey had to ground ship cause no flying allowd.

Noise is VERY loud when u fire up the car, then u hear a little suction when you turn off the car, like a little cough

Makes exhaust sound 100 times better also, and improve performance.

I cant really hear the whole "spooling" thing at 3k rpms, my exhaust is too loud
