I was on my way home tonight, and it was raining, HARD! Well, I took all the usual precautions, and avoided deep puddles. But that's hard to do in Lubbock b/c we have little or no drainage systems. SO I could see the curb where it happened, but I guess there was a pot hole or something, my car got flooded enough to kill it. I took apart the intake all the way to the throttle body in the middle of the road, and EVERYTHING was wet. I guess the ram air created a vacuum for the water, and sucked a BUNCH up in there. So I soaked my t-shirt to try and dry some of it up, but didn't wanna try to start it really. So anyway, ram-air is good and bad. BE FORWARNED if you are thinking about getting it.
Also, any suggestions of what to check, or what to make sure is dry before I try to crank it tomorrow morning? I don't wanna mess anything up. Thanks!
