• o2 simulator problems

This topic has been discussed many times, and I'm really getting tired of it and want a quick fix. I just recently put an o2 simulator on my car 2 days ago, drove it for 20 minutes and the light went off , but then after another 20 minutes of driving, the light came back on again. Don't really know what is going on but the previous posts said that 2000k+ f-bodys have problems with the o2 simulator. If that is true then I guess I wasted my money again. I would put my stock cat back on but I don't have it anymore, and buying a new one would cost $500! Could I just buy an aftermarket cat that is simular to stock and not high flowing? Would that fix the SES light problem?

you are having the same problem i am..

I think the only real way to fix it is to put a stock cat back on..

there are no other real solutions..

I wonder if the o2 sim works for 2000+ ls1's??

I am begining to think that GM figured out what people where doing and wised up to it.. however the aftermarket has yet to offer a solution that works..

I have a stock cat you can buy from me for $25 plus shipping. Let me know here or preff. @ alberto_prieto@hotmail.com.

I am having the same problem too. I have a catco highflow cat and the damn SES light won't go off. I'm gonn a try the O2 sim thing and if it doesn't work then so be it. But, in the mean time if you want the stock cat let me know and I'll ship it to you. I'm keeping my catco so I have no use for the stock cat. Goodluck!
