It is in the front of the Throttle Body, and do a search before you think about removing, you might change your mind. Although 98-up do not have the same problems as pre 98's when removing it I think you will find it is something you do not want to do :D

yeah, I just did it..had a few problems, different people get different results..just make sure you save that screen when you remove it. I popped an SES light and had to reset the pcm.

go ahead with it. It will help a lot with throttle response and give 5 rwhp and 10 rwtq on a stock v6. If done in conjunction with other intake/exhaust stuff, will improve the response of this tremendously.

        Shorten your sig dude.

take off all the intake parts, and its right there in the throttle body. Youll see a screen, Have fun trying to get it out without breaking it. Try taking out that little C clip around it first, I still wasnt able to get it without cracking it though.

If you remove it when the throttle body and all are hot, the TB will be expanded and it will practically fall out into your hands when you remove the C-shaped Sping.

Whisper Lid rules, buy one! There is nothing quite like it, its a serious performance modification.

There are two small holes in the "C Ring" that holds in the screen. Just kind of get a knife or fork or something sharp and pointy, and push the two together, the the ring comes out easily. Then just use that knife or whatever to edge out one side of the screen. I don't see how so many people break it getting it out.

The Volant is all about looks... No real preformance gain, except a lighter wallet.
