as far as I know, the '95 had a 3.4. I'd make sure before I ordered...

If you look at the placement of the pipes in that picture you can tell that the exhaust outlets would not match to the 3.4L heads. That being said I would assume they are for the mid to late 95 which is the 3.8

Most of the 95 3.8'S were sold in california.

Considering that the 3.4 has an O2 sensor on each header and that pic shows a sensor on the ypipe, its not for a 3.4

Oh hell yes! Finally more people are making headers for 3.8's!!! Someone should do a flow test to see which headers(borla, cia, rksport) have the best flow and produce the most hp/tq.

I searched for a parts for a 96 and all they had was stuff for the LT1. I wouldnt get your hopes up. Never know bout these things.

One thing i did notice was that, that site is SLOW and only works like half the time. Hard to do any searching and researching on there.

Hmm, odd- it only appears for the '95 model year...

quote:
my 95 camaro is a 3.4, 95 was the year the did a swap in the middle of production i think

Yep, both the 3.4 and 3.8 were made in '95.

quote:
If you look at the placement of the pipes in that picture you can tell that the exhaust outlets would not match to the 3.4L heads.

How in bloody heck can we tell that? The pieces in the picture aren't even assembled! However, it does bother me that it looks like it's using 2-bolt flanges for the header/y-pipe connection...

quote:
Considering that the 3.4 has an O2 sensor on each header and that pic shows a sensor on the ypipe, its not for a 3.4

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the 3.8s also have O2s on the headers. Actually, I believe a '95 3.8 should have one on each header, one right before the cat, and one right after.

The reason I had said they were probably for a 3.4 is that there were more 3.4s produced during '95, hence it seemed more likely the product would be for a 3.4. But its entirely possible they're for the 3.8. Who knows. Time to play the waiting game until someone contacts Borla and verifies the application.

I contacted "Jay" at borla he said that the headers were made for private label meaning that borla made them just for nopi. but the bad news is that he can't give me any info on them because nopi isn't allowed to give them borla part numbers. I can't seem to get anywhere with the nopi website every time I try to go some where it come up as "unable to locate page" so if some one can locate part numbers from nopi that are the orginal numbers from borla they should post them.

Listen to this load of crap, Nopi e-mails me a phone number (1800-277-6674 ext.1). the sale's rep says that there only made of the 5.7l engine.
