• exhaust, slp loudmouth or TSP

im so close to buy my new exhaust, but not sure which to buy, either the slp loudmouth for $380or TSP rumbler catback with out tips cuz its $200 bucks.
here in florida nobody cares how loud your exhaust is so sound doesnt matter, which exhaust would give me the best sound and which would give me the best performance?

Performance will be identical! The better/cleaner sound comes from the Rumbler because of the bullet muffler that is incorporated. Nobody can or will debate about this, everyone knows it's the truth.

it'll look ugly, that's the only effect I can think of...

It doesn't look ugly, that's just your opinion. There's no adverse affects of not running tips, except if you'll tend to get some black buld-up on the rear bumper where your pipes end. Keep good wax on it, and maintain it like the rest of your car, and you'll have no problems. I know this from experience on my own car

no pics but i know a few guys with this system and they all love it (and so do I). They all got tips for it and i would suggest getting them just to make it look a little nicer and to keep the build up from getting on your bumper.

While the questions are going, how is the rasp above 4k? Is it the best sounding (for rasp anyways). Any sound clips of it? Thanks.

Rumbler will be slightly more quiet than the LM, but the difference in shear volume is minute! The bullet muffler actually makes a big noticable difference in the sound of the system.

Rasp above 4K depends on the rest of the exhaust setup (headers or no, cat or not or high flow, etc, as well as motor mods).

My setup would be Pacesetter headers, no cat, cai, cam, and some other minor valvetrain upgrades. Then hopefully in january when I get the cash, a supercharger. I know it wont sound like an 8, not expecting it, just looking for the best sound and I've heard some pretty good things about the TSP, but have yet to hear a clip.
