• HELP ASAP

i was installing my headers today and i have had a few problems.

1 - i need to know what spark plug wire goes where.

2 - i need to know where the dipstick inserts into the engine because during installation it came out.

3 - what do i torque the header bolts down to?

please post only if you can help and no smart *** answers please because i need my car for work tomorrow at 5:30 at night and i need to get this done.

    1. the plug/wire order is it goes 1-3-5 on the drivers side going front to back and on the passanger side going front to back, it is 2-4-6. there should be #s on your coils. get #1 wire and follow it until you grap the boot and thats the one that goes on your #1 plug

    2. there is a hole it goes in on the block. if you put the dipstick inbetween #1 and #3 header pipe pipe, you should be able find it.

3.i dont know the torque specs but i never torqued mine down. just tighten it up as much as possible from the middle out and back to the middle. and check every day or two and keep tightening until they stay

As a note, I had to be down under the car to find the hole for my dipstick when I installed my headers...that might help you. Torque specs are very important if using a cork type gasket...for OEM or Felpro steel or layed gaskets, the torque is not AS important because they are not squeezing the metal persa.
