larger throttle body?

does anyone know if their is a larger after market throttle body made for a 1995 3.8l, or if you can get any hp gains from having my stock throttle body ported?

No, there is no bolt-on upgrade to the throttle body. You would have to have an adaptor plate made if you wanted a larger one(ls1/lt1). I have heard that there is a lot of metal that can be removed in the stock throttle body. I suggest that when you get your throttle body ported and polished that you have the intake manifold match ported too for smooth air flow.

ive talked about this with mangus, and he said there are no gains to be made from a p&p TB. he P&P'ed his and he said it isnt worth it. its already huge. hope this helps.
