  • Has anyone used one of these Air Temperature ModuleS?

    Here is what it claims....

This module plugs in between the air temperature sensor and its harness connector. It tells the PCM air to provide maximum spark advance (usually a 1 to 2 degree increase). Proper knock sensor and other engine sensor functions are not compromised. SLP suggests the use of premium grade fuel with this modification. A 5 to 7 horsepower increase is possible. Call for the most up to the minute vehicle applications. This item works on stock or modified engines

My question is has anyone used this and if so is it or was it worth the money...?

Its an over priced resistor that plugs into the IAT module and tells the PCM that the air is colder than it is. Not worth it.

I bought a pack of resistors from Radio Shack that do the same thing that ebay d*cks are claiming 10-12 hp increase. It's NOT gonna give you any hp increase. If you like, I can send a resistor to you in the mail so you can try it yourself. Don't know about you, but I always have to learn from my lessons the hard way and try things for myself. Send me your address and I'll have it on the way, but it didn't do sh*t for me.
