Do anybody know of a good set of headers for a 1996 3.8l camaro?

rk sport headers are good plus they are the only ones that make them for our cars

Actually RK Sport headers are NOT good. They have terrible leaking issues. They aren't the only ones available. Clear Image Automotive (CIA) also makes a set for the 3.8. The only problem with those is that they cost around $700 if I remember correctly. There was also some word about a set of pacesetters coming, don't really remember what happened there.

RKSport = Leaking issues due to poor design. I wouldn't buy them. (Given that there is an alternative.)

Clear Image Automotive (CIA) = Good quality. Pricier, but you get what you pay for.

Pacesetter = Have been claiming for about a year that they're coming out with them, but nothing so far. Even if they do make them, they won't be available for at least another 2.5 months. Would be about the same price as RKSport headers I think. No one knows how the design/quality on them will be yet.

Borla = It seems that Borla makes some headers (exclusively for another company) for either the 3.4 or 3.8 that someone found just the other day, but I don't think it's been verified for which. They're about $700.

Ive had no problems at all with my RK Sport headers. I had the headers and y-pipe welded together and its the best thing ive done to my car. It compliments any exhaust work that you've done pretty good. Id go with them and weld them to the y pipe.

the flaw is that rksport headers have a 2 bolt connection at the y-pipe as opposed to the 3 bolt design on CIA. problem is solved by simply welding the joint together.

But not really worth it at that point.
