What kinda exhaust?

I ahve a 3.1 Firebird with stock exhaust, (ybar)and i need a throtier sound to come out of the pipes. WHo would you recommend?

I think Dynomax is supposed to be good for the 3.1 engines.

Ya that was another opinion i got, i swear i hate this engine, typical with all GM's im told, u can sit in traffic(its pretty bad here), and watch it go from 220-230 in just aminute

j/w... if you hate the engine so much, why bother modifying it? I would suggest the first thing you do is an engine swap. that's if you can afford it. anyways good luck!

I hate it because stuff is not very plentiful as is the 3.4 and 3800II. The 3.1 was made as a front drive engine. It found its way in Coursicas, Luminas, Cavaliers, all of which are front drive, the only thing rear wheel it was in is the 'bird, 'maro. I honestly wish I had a 3800II, my brother has 1 in his 2002 Camaro
