4th gen muffler on a 3rd gen

will a 4th gen muffler fit in a 3rd gen? my pipes are cracked infront of the muffler so i figured it's a good a time as any for a better sounding muffler. so basically the pipes will be made already, so is size an issue?

Yes, any standard 2.5" in / out muffler is interchangable between 3rd & 4th Gens.

i couldn't think of any problems there might be other than maybe if they're different sized.
