Finally got the header on tonight. The EGR wasn't fun but it's all on and it is LOUD! :D YES! But the thing is, the y pipe leaks like whoa so I have a little work to do tomorrow but it sounds awesome with the hi flow cat and loudmouth. Kinda freaky when you first start it and the car starts smoking like crazy bc the paint is baking off. I love em though, tomorrow I'ma tighten the header bolts and try to fix the leak in the y pipe.

it took me about a minute to figure out what was going on. i was freaking out too :D

sounds good. its a good idea to pick up some full thread bolts for the y-pipe. if not , you'll end up tightening down them all the way and still leak

F**KING BRILLIANT! THANK YOU SIR! I heard it for the first time outside the car today and I have a feeling I'm going to get pulled over for it, lol. Just reved to 3k rpm my ears did the weird thing that they do when something is about to hurt them from volume. :D Couldn't be happier with the turn out.

i had the honors of letting him hear it for the first time. it sounds REALLY good revved up. i think it was revved to 4k when i heard it and it was incredibly loud. it was really close to a v8 sound. when i heard the car taking off, it was obvious it was a 6, but it didn't sound bad.

corey, if you need help w/ a sound clip let me know. i've been bugging my roommate to make a video clip of mine so maybe i can get his video camera and we can film ours.

Sounds like a plan. I still have to get a few kinks out though. EGR leaks and tightening header bolts (again). I think I fixed the leaky y-pipe though [img]smile.gif[/img]
EDIT:Fixed the EGR leak. I'm at school so I can't tighten the header bolts just yet.

I'M A DUMB@$$!!!! seriously, i bought new bolts for the y pipe that were fully threaded to fix the leak but my dumb@$$ self only bought 2 bolts... i needed 4. but it worked (on one side for now). and i accidently touched a header, ouch, ouch, F#$%, HOT!

once you touch that header once, you'll never do it again....hopefully

only take about 10 second for those *****es to get hot, i found that out one time lol
