• LID vs Cold Air Induction

Which is better, whats the main difference?

One in the same my friend! The lid eliminates the baffles that swirl the air, and warm it up. The warm air is more quiet and kills power, which most people want from a vehicle. A lid makes a direct path for the air to go in and will make that charge cooler, hence cold-air intake!

Nw SLP is dumb, and calls their "ram-air" set-up cold-air. Most people, V6 and LS1 cars alike, have both!

yeah i think they'll both give you pretty much the same...i have suncoast's functional SS style hood...i noticed a little more throttle response...especially in this nice cold weather...but it was expensive due to the hood (obviously) ...if you just want the power and dont care about looks or anything like that just go with an aftermarket lid...which still looks sweet under the hood anyway
