ok, I've looked everywhere and cant find the answer to this one, if I gut the cat on my car, what difference does it make to the sound of the exhaust? I also cant find my post-cat 02 sensor, does anyone know where it is located? Please someone who had done this please tell me what it does to the sound.

Well it's been a while, but if memory serves me correctly, I believe the descriptions from people who gutted their cats were most often along the lines of:
"..wet fart."
"..fart in a coffee can.."
"..chainsaw on crack.."
