Throttle body coolant plug

Hey Guys, i was on zz performance's website today, and found a throttle body coolant plug. It basically plugs into the intake manifold and directs the coolant around the throttle body. This uses the same principle as a TB spacer, but the plug goes into the throttle body slightly. It says it works on all L36 engines. Will this work on our cars? Specifically my 96 firebird?

Also, I took my throttle body off my car, being 9 years old the gasket breaks, of course. I ordered a new one from napa, but don't expect it to be in soon.
Is there a way i can make a SAFE temporary alternative?
I would only need the temp one for maby two days. What material would i make this out of?

I ordered a few gaskets for a dealer. All-in-all, I have 4 extra ones in my garage because I was planning on installing a spacer once, but never got around to it. The spacer came with two new gaskets, but I didn't know and went out and bought two before I got it in the mail.
Yes, there is an alternative for your gaskets. Buy uncut gasket material from any auto store and cut it to fit. Silicone is another alternative, but I really don't like using that alone without a paper gasket.

As for the TB cooland plug, just don't carve out that section on the gasket you get to it. Put a little silicone over that section of the gasket so the paper won't absorb the coolant.
